On-demand Interview

Career Foundation
At Microsoft, contracting has allowed me to move across teams, build new skill sets, and support organizations in increasingly strategic ways. I began my career as an Executive Administrator and quickly realized that the most creative and impactful work required deeper expertise, which led me to pursue in‑role learning and ultimately earn a Master’s in Communication.

Evolving Expertise
Over the years, I’ve supported a wide range of sales and marketing organizations, expanding my portfolio across internal communications, program management, employee experience, and Chief of Staff–aligned responsibilities. With this foundation, I’m now focused on stepping into a Chief of Staff role within a technology company, ideally one that is dynamic, entrepreneurial, and energized by new ideas.

Streamlined Introduction
To streamline the process as I move toward my next milestone, I’ve pre-recorded an on-demand "interview" that offers a clear sense of my capabilities, interests, and working style. It’s designed to give you an early look at who I am and reduce the back‑and‑forth typically required in early conversations.

St. Thomas School
Educational Video Production, Science Communication & Classroom Experience Design
  • Produced an engaging educational video that guided kindergarten students through the full 21‑day process of hatching chicks from an incubator, blending clear storytelling with approachable science education.

  • Directed all on‑set production, from shot planning to audio capture to performance coaching, ensuring the video felt natural, confident, and accessible for children learning to cook.
  • Delivered a polished, easy‑to‑follow tutorial that blends education and entertainment, demonstrating my ability to create compelling video content for families, classrooms, and beginner‑level audiences.

Watch this documentary capturing the final moments before a 40‑year career comes to a close in the midst of the COVID‑19 pandemic. (4 minutes)
King County Metro Transit
Documentary‑Style Video Storytelling, Editing & Human‑Centered Narrative
  • Created a short documentary for a graduate‑level Video Storytelling course, capturing my dad’s final days on the job as a King County Metro Transit Base Chief after 40 years of service.
  • Filmed and edited the piece during the earliest months of COVID‑19, when misinformation, fear, and rapidly changing policies shaped daily life. Used storytelling to humanize the experience of frontline public‑sector workers navigating unprecedented uncertainty.
  • Blended levity and gravity through intentional creative choices: light, humorous moments to balance the heaviness of the situation, paired with slow piano music and quiet pacing to underscore the emotional weight of retirement during a global crisis.
  • Crafted a narrative that highlighted both personal and systemic realities, including the impact of using PTO to “stay home and stay healthy,” and the broader context of union grievances and delayed county responses.
  • Directed all production, from interview setup to b‑roll capture to final edit in Adobe Premiere Pro, demonstrating versatility in documentary framing, emotional tone‑setting, and visual storytelling.
  • Delivered a thoughtful, intimate portrait of a career milestone unfolding in extraordinary circumstances, showing how “life goes on” even in the midst of collective uncertainty.
